Black Friday is quickly becoming the most interesting time period in this the United States. Once Halloween is over, every company in the world sets off their sirens and busts out the banners and billboards with one word in big, bold letters: SALE. Sales are what make the world go round from November to early January. You can’t have a holiday season without sales from your favorite blanket company, or pencil company, or mouse trap company (if that’s a thing). What’s funny is you and I are thrust into it without really knowing it. 

It’d be like we’re walking down the street, and then out of nowhere, we’re rushed into a building that is having a stellar buffet. We’ve got thousands of options placed before us in a moment. And we have to pick something to eat! Hurry! Right now! Before the sale ends! We’re considering things we never did before, simply because there is a buffet before us. Now, what should we pick, before this bountiful harvest? Let me narrow down the list to the best thing you can walk away with this Black Friday buffet.

Let’s start destroying the odd and, frankly, stupid media idea that families that spend time together are weird. I just call that lazy writing in media. The families that spend time together are the coolest families I know. I love seeing families where the parents and kids have a bunch of inside jokes and memories together doing fun things.
