Ah, March Madness! The annual NCAA college basketball tournament that takes over the country for three weeks every spring. It's a time when office productivity plummets, as everyone is glued to their TV screens (or streaming devices), rooting on their alma mater or favorite team.

Who doesn't love March Madness? The anticipation of the big games, the excitement of the upsets, and, of course, the snacks. Snacks are a great time, you know? What else is there in this world that makes you happier while you're hosting a watch party than some snacks to make the guests like you even MORE. Look no further than our wonderful list here for your best options! From bite-sized appetizers to hearty entrées, we've got something for everyone. Whether you're cheering on your favorite team or just want to enjoy some good food, these snacks are sure to hit the spot. Here are our favorite picks for the perfect March Madness snack.

Popcorn

Popcorn is always a classic snack, and you can't go wrong with popcorn during March Madness. Make it yourself or buy it at the store, popcorn is a great snack to have on hand while watching the games. If you're feeling adventurous, try making some flavored popcorn! There are tons of recipes out there for things like cheesy popcorn, chocolate popcorn, and even bacon-flavored popcorn. Or you could keep it simple and just add some seasonings to your popcorn like salt, pepper, or garlic powder.

Chips and Dips

Another great snack option is chips and dip. This is a classic for a reason! Chips and dip are easy to make and can be tailored to your taste. Pick your favorite type of chip (tortilla chips, potato chips, pita chips, etc.) and pair it with your favorite dip (salsa, guacamole, hummus, queso blanco, etc.). This snack is sure to please everyone at your March Madness party.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Another great snack for March Madness is buffalo chicken dip. This dish is easy to make and can be served with tortilla chips, celery, or carrots. The best part about this dip is that it can be made ahead of time so you don't have to worry about making it during the games.

Sliders/Mini Sandwiches

For something a little heartier, try making sliders or mini sandwiches. These are perfect for when you need a break from all the snacking and want something to tide you over until dinner. Sliders can be made with any type of meat (beef, chicken, pork, lamb, etc.) and any type of bread (buns, rolls, biscuits, etc.). You can also get creative with your toppings and fillings! Try adding some BBQ sauce to your beef sliders or using a Hawaiian sweet roll for your mini sandwiches.

Hotdogs

Hotdogs are also a great option for March Madness. They are easy to make and can be served with ketchup, mustard, or relish. Just pop in some hot dogs and buns and you're ready to go!

You may not find yourself that excited for hotdogs. But you know what everyone in this world freaks out about?? Little hotdogs wrapped in croissants, aka Pigs in a Blanket. If you want those cute little Pigs in a Blanket at your next party, check out this recipe!

Tortilla Chips and Guacamole

This is one of our personal favorites! Tortilla chips and guacamole are the perfect snack for March Madness. The chips are salty and crunchy, while the guacamole is creamy and flavorful. Buffalo Cauliflower

Have an air fryer? Did you get one for Christmas two years ago and it's currently gathering dust in the bottom of your pantry? Yeah, it's time to whip that bad boy out and give it a reason to be in your home: Buffalo Cauliflower. You hear "cauliflower" and you think, "Gross." You think wrong, my friend. Cauliflower has some massive potential that is squandered by our inability to properly give them the cooking they deserve.
