In our previous blog post, we looked at some of the best places to go in the Western United States for a summer vacation. Now, we're going to expand on that list with a few more ideas for places to visit.

Our next list is about as diverse as it gets. From the majestic Grand Canyon to the lively city of Los Angeles, there's something for everyone on this list.

Denver

Even on the outside, Denver Art Museum exudes sophistication and beauty.

If you're looking for a laid-back city to visit in the Western United States, Denver is a great option. The city is home to some of the most iconic landmarks in the country, like the Art Museum, Botanic Gardens, and Museum of Nature & Science. These alone make Denver a great place to visit, but there's so much more to see and do in the city.

One of Denver's best features is its vibrant nightlife. From funky bars and clubs to lively gastro pubs, there's something for everyone to enjoy when it comes to partying in Denver. On any given night, you're likely to find something new and exciting to do.

Whether you want to join Club Vinyl's rooftop party or dance the night away at Temple Nightclub, you are sure to have a great time in Denver. If you're still not convinced, check out our blog post on the top things to do in Denver.

Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is one of the most iconic natural wonders globally, and it's easy to see why. The canyon is simply stunning -- over 277 miles long and 18 miles wide -- and it's a great place to visit if you're looking for a truly majestic experience.

The Grand Canyon is full of awe-inspiring features. Some of the best things to do in the Grand Canyon are to hike the trails or take a boat ride down the river. But there's so much more to see and do in the canyon, including exploring the museums, taking pictures at viewpoints, and simply soaking up the natural beauty of this amazing place.

Be prepared for a strenuous trek if you're looking to hike the canyon. But if you're up for the challenge, the Grand Canyon is definitely worth a visit.

San Francisco

Fisherman's Wharf is one of San Francisco's busiest tourist spots.

One of the most famous cities in the world, San Francisco is steeped in history. With landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts, it's a standing testament to the city's storied past.

But San Francisco is more than just a historical landmark. The city is home to some of the most iconic attractions in the Western United States, like the cable cars and the Fisherman's Wharf.

San Francisco is also a great place to visit for its food. From world-renowned restaurants such as Lazy Bear which serves New American cuisine to intimate cafés such as Cafe Claude which serves classic French dishes, there's something for everyone to enjoy when it comes to eating in this wholesome city.

Los Angeles

City of Angels, City of Flowers and Sunshine, Double Dubuque -- Los Angeles is known for a lot of things, but one of its most famous attributes is its dazzling array of sun-drenched beaches.

From Venice Beach to Malibu, there's a beach for everyone to enjoy in Los Angeles. And if you're looking for something a little more urban, the city has plenty of attractions to offer as well, like the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Staples Center.

As a melting pot of cultures, Los Angeles is home to landmarks that are representative of every corner of the globe. From the Hollywood Sign and Universal Studios to the Dodger Stadium and Disneyland Resort, Los Angeles is a city of epic proportions.

St. George

With its striking red rock formations and majestic mountains, St. George is an unforgettable place to visit. The city is home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the Western United States, but it's also a great place to shop.

From quaint boutiques to luxurious department stores, there's something for everyone on St. George's shopping list. And suppose you're looking for a little more excitement in your life. In that case, the city has plenty of activities to offer, like watching the famous St. George Dance Company or visiting the longest operating Latter-day Saints temple. Check out our blog post to learn more about the top 10 things to do in St. George.

Bryce Canyon

Just like Yellowstone and Zion, Bryce Canyon is a natural beauty.

One of the most popular national parks in the United States, Bryce Canyon is a geological wonderland that's worth visiting at least once. With towering cliffs, winding canyons, and vast open spaces, Bryce Canyon is a photographer's dream come true.

But if you're looking to explore Bryce Canyon on foot, don't worry -- the park is also home to a number of hiking trails. And if you're feeling more adventurous, there's even a Bryce Canyon zip line available for thrill-seekers.

Aspen

Known for its snow-capped mountains, Aspen is a picturesque town that's perfect for a relaxing summer vacation. With plenty of activities to choose from, there's something for everyone in Aspen.

Of course, we're talking about summer vacation so there's no skiing for you. Instead, what you can do is visit three places in Aspen that have immense international importance -- Aspen Music Festival and School, Aspen Institute, and Aspen Center for Physics

If you are more an outdoorsy type of person, you can also check out the campgrounds at White River National Forest, which offer a variety of hiking and biking trails.

Park City

Located in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains, Park City is a popular ski resort that's also home to plenty of summer activities. From hiking and biking to swimming and golfing, you can find something to do in Park City all summer long.

Plenty of hot air balloon rides are also available, making it the perfect place to experience the wonderful Utah sky. If the height isn't enough to get your heart racing, you can also try the rapids of Weber River.

Conclusion

The Western United States is a great place to visit in the summer. With multiple destinations on this list, you're sure to find a place that you'll enjoy. Here's to a fun and relaxing summer in the West!
