Savor the Serenity at Zion National Park

Zion National Park is a destination that’s perfect for anyone looking for some peace and quiet. With stunning vistas of the mountains, the park is an excellent place to relax and take in the natural beauty of Utah.

If you’re looking for things to do in the park, there are a few options available. You can hike up Angels Landing, enjoy scenic sights along Zion Canyon, or even rock-climbing. If you'd rather stay put, there are plenty of camping areas available such as Watchman Campground and South Campground.

All in all, Zion National Park is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of life and just relax this summer.

Go for a Ride at the Lagoon

If you're looking for a fun and exciting day out with your family and friends, head to the Lagoon. This amusement park offers a variety of rides, including a thrilling roller coaster, a river raft ride, and vertical fall towers.

There’s also plenty of fun to be had in Lagoon A Beach, a 6-acre water park with a number of water attractions, including a wave pool and a lazy river. For sure, Lagoon is the perfect place to spend a day this summer.

Get Mesmerized at Arches National Park

Located at the northern edge of the city of Moab, Arches National Park is one of the most beautiful and iconic national parks in the country. With towering red rock formations and vast landscapes, it’s a must-see for anyone visiting Utah.

There are tons of hikes to do here, from super easy to challenging. Many viewpoints and arches are just a short walk from the parking lot as well. Arches National Park is a breathtaking place to visit with a family, solo trip, or as a couple.

Cool off at SeaQuest Aquarium

The best way to beat the summer heat is by being surrounded by plenty of water, and that's what you'll get at SeaQuest. Located at Layton, this aquarium is a perfect day getaway that will keep your family cool and entertained.

When visiting this place, we definitely recommend that you buy some tokens in exchange for food for the different animals. You are still encouraged to touch and interact with the animals even without the tokens. Here you'll enjoy interacting with an Asian otter, a porcupine, as well as reef sharks, stingrays, and hundreds of tropical fish.

Visit the Historic St. George Temple

As a religious community, the Mormons have played a significant role in the development of Utah. One of the most important Mormon temples in the state is the historic St. George Temple.

Although it's under renovation right now, St. George Temple is still an exciting place to visit. The Visitor Center however is open and has some wonderful exhibits for everyone.

Take in a Play at the Capitol Theatre

Built in 1913 (more than 100 years!), Capitol Theatre is one of the oldest theaters in Utah. From the ornate columns to the engineered acoustical space, you'll be surrounded by beauty incomparable to any other theater in the state.

The Capitol Theatre is also home to Ballet West, one of the most prestigious performers in Utah. Their performances are second-to-none, and you can always expect a great show when you attend one of their performances.

If you plan on visiting soon, make sure to allocate some extra time to find parking. There are several public lots nearby, but downtown traffic in Salt Lake City always adds a few minutes. There are also dozens of great restaurants within a few blocks when you get hungry.

Bowling, Arcade, and Laser Tag Fun at FatCats

The success of FatCats is a statement in and of itself. This entertainment center has four locations in Utah -- Provo, Ogden, Salt Lake City, and Saratoga Springs.

FatCats is the place for you if you're looking for some family-friendly fun, They have bowling alleys, an arcade, and a laser tag arena.
