We’re all about family. Webelieve that families and friends that spend time together doing wholesome, exciting activities develop a bond that cannot be broken. In this bond liesyears of fond memories and moments that will last a lifetime.

Charles Belliston has anamazing wife and two wonderful boys. He loves spending time with them doing allsorts of different activities. He’s an incredible salesman with a businessmindset, spending his time in medical device sales and hanging out with his family. As he was taking his family to a rock-climbing gym in the Autumn of 2017, henoticed how expensive it was to try a new thing that his family may or may noteven enjoy. He wanted to treat his kids to a fun, different activity ratherthan staying home and watching TV all night, but with different places being sopricy, he wondered if there was a better way to help his kids try new things.Little did he know that this fateful trip would lead him into creating thelargest family fun-pass in the United States.

Charles entertained theidea of creating a sort of pass that would allow families to try differentvenues and activities in their area without needing to worry about the price. This service wasn’t totally revolutionary, seeing that there were plenty ofcoupon books and apps designed to get people free things. His idea wasdifferent: to help families try a little bit of everything for free with anemphasis on getting them out of the house to create memories. Now, he was surehe wasn’t going to have a difficult time finding customers who would want totry amazing venues for free. Who wouldn’t? What he was concerned with wascreating a pass that benefited both the members on the pass and the venues thatwould be featured on it. Is it possible to have the best of both worlds?

(SPOILER) Yeah, it is.We’ve been around for like, three years.

But it wasn’t easy tofigure out in the beginning.

Most businesses don’t lovegiving things away for free without any sort of future compensation. Charleswanted to ensure that the venues on his pass would ultimately benefit fromallowing customers to use their services or get admission for free. It was adifficult process, meeting with hundreds of venues in the Utah area andnegotiating how to provide a pass that is awesome for members and venues. Heoften recalled and used his own frustrations with not being able to take hisfamily out to different places and aimed to solve that problem at each meeting. After months of hard work, pooling money from local sources (and a little bitof luck), Charles was able to sign a few dozen venues and start up theGetOutPass.

He couldn’t believe it!The dream of starting a business that would help families discover new placesand try out awesome, wholesome activities was finally a reality! Families wouldnow be able to save money and have fun and get out of their boring houses! Itwas a win-win-win! What now?

Yeah… what now?

Well, a business needspeople to run it. Charles thought about running the business himself until hemet the current CEO, Taggart Krueger. The minute he met him, he realized thatthis dude was the real deal. Charles wanted someone that would not only helpthe pass expand in Utah, but across the United States. With Taggart’s expertisein all things business, Charles knew he found the perfect person to lead theGetOutPass.

Taggart graduated inAccounting from Brigham Young University. He has assembled an excellent salesteam and marketing team (if I do say so myself) that has helped the pass expandacross the country.

The GetOutPass started in2017 with just a few dozen venues. Charles was able to sign contracts with somelarge amusement parks in Utah along with some entertainment centers and othervenues with various activities. Expanding on that, Utah grew and ventured intoColorado. Once the GOP team saw that venues in other states were hearing aboutthe pass, Charles was more than excited to get the pass set up in Colorado,Idaho, and Washington.

Believe it or not, growth continued, and the pass was well on its way. Tens of thousands of people were joining!Charles and his team watched as all these families were enjoying activitiestogether out of the house. The pass continues to grow, and the sky is the limit,my friends. It reaches from coast to coast, from Sacramento to DC. We’ve gotnew markets in the Midwest, Texas, and many more coming. We’re excited to workand excited to bring the pass to all corners in this the United States.

What was once afrustrating experience became an entire new business of fun for CharlesBelliston. Members can enjoy amusement parks, go-karts, axe throwing, bowling, golf, and so much more on the pass. His dream was to help families discover newand exciting venues with activities they may have never consideredtrying.

One of the most incrediblethings about life is discovery. Being able to do that with friends and family…is there anything better than that?
