The Peach State is not all about peaches -- Georgia provides its visitors with plenty of things to see and do. And if you are looking for an ideal vacation place, try and visit this amazing state.

Home to the oldest state park in the nation, Georgia boasts a rich heritage history and culture as well as adventure and cultural attractions. Despite being relatively small, it offers a wide variety of landscapes including deserts, coasts, and mountains. Aside from that, you can also explore astonishing lakes, canyons, and waterfalls.

In this blog post, we'll share with you the top reasons why you should visit the state of Georgia this year.

Visit Providence Canyon State Park

Also known as Georgia's Little Grand Canyon, Providence Canyon State park is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia. It is located in Stewart County in southwest Georgia.

This place is family-friendly, and you can also bring your pets with you so no family member will be left out. They also have picnic areas, campsites, hiking trails, and a playground.

There are a lot of things that you can do in this state park. Thousands of beautiful scenery await you here. And if you and your family are looking for a place to do something adventurous, then Providence Canyon State Park would be a great fit.

Enjoy the Beautiful View at Driftwood Beach

All who visit Jekyll Island's renowned Driftwood Beach are enchanted by its breathtaking coastlines. It is a sandy seacoast with eroded tree trunks and branches, creating a wonderful sight that pleases people's eyes.

It may not be the best beach to swim in, but the breathtaking views and sights that await you here are unbeatable. Plus, bike paths are nearby and interesting birds can be found on the tree branches. Make sure to bring your camera and capture spectacular shots during low and high tide!

So if you're visiting Jekyll Island, don’t forget to drop by this beautiful beach place, capture your shots, and enjoy the gorgeous view.

Learn More About Coca-Cola’s History

A 20-acre museum located in Atlanta, the World of Coca-Cola showcases the company’s history. It was opened to the public in 2007, replacing the original exhibit founded in 1990 in Underground Atlanta.

This is where you will know facts about one of the country's most popular soft drink brands. At each step, you will be guided by their friendly, knowledgeable staff all throughout your tour. What's more, Coca-Cola's history will be presented in an entertaining way, making it an excellent choice for a family side trip.

Witness the Breathtaking Beauty of Amicalola Falls

Also regarded as one of Georgia’s Seven Natural Wonders, Amicalola Falls State Park is an 829-acre park located near Dawsonville, Georgia, halfway between Ellijay and Dahlonega. The park is home to Amicalola Falls which is considered as the tallest waterfall in Georgia at 729 feet.

In addition, Amicalola Falls State Park provides access to the environmentally friendly Len Foote Hike Inn, a number of hiking trails, a guest lodge, a restaurant, a campground, and a shelter for long-distance Appalachian Trail hikers.

There is a stairway you can use to reach your way up, which means that kids and adults alike can easily climb the top of the falls. The falls and the stunning view are definitely worth the hike. And surely, the hike will be more enjoyable since the whole family can climb up together.

View Awesome Artworks at the High Museum of Art

In 1905, The High Museum of Art was founded as the Atlanta Art Association. The association was renamed in Harriet Harwell Wilson High's honor after she donated her family's Peachtree Street home to be utilized as a museum in 1926.

High Museum of Art is a place perfectly designed for art lovers. It can take up to two to three hours to roam about this place, but it will certainly be a peaceful and relaxing experience.

Each floor of the museum showcases a different period in history, and visitors can take a trip back in time through the galleries. Different styles of art expressions, from paints to sculptures, are displayed on each floor of the museum. It's just awesome to walk through all levels.

This is definitely the place to take a date or have a cute, sophisticated night with friends. Aside from the artworks, they sometimes have a live band playing for their guests. Best of all, their staff is always polite and, even on its busiest nights, the wait to get in is never long.

Visit the Historical Stone Mountain

In the state of Georgia, Stone Mountain is one the places that receive the most visitors every year. This is not surprising considering that the massive rock relief on Stone Mountain's north face, the largest bas-relief piece of art in the world, is a big tourist attraction.

Three Confederate leaders, Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, and Stonewall Jackson are shown in the carving, which was finished in 1972. Although the park had previously been in use for a few years, Stone Mountain Park's official opening was on April 14, 1965, which was 100 years after Lincoln's death.

You can climb to the top by a sky ride or by walking up the trail which takes up to 14 minutes on average. It will be a great family experience and you definitely will have lots of fun climbing.

Once you and your family are at the top, you will be greeted with breathtaking views while you get to eat your delicious ice cream and have a cold drink.

Experience Ultimate Sea and Land Adventure at SeaQuest

20,000 square feet of adventure -- that's how we can describe SeaQuest. Located in Stonecrest, this aquarium is one of the best attractions you can visit in the state of Georgia. You and your kids will definitely enjoy many interactive activities that are available, such as playing with otters, meeting a cute porcupine, and getting your feet kissed by fish.
